With the  transition to electronic care plans, comes the added benefit of families having access to our online family engagement platform ResHub. Res hub is an app that has been designed to elevate communication between families, residents, and care teams. The ResHub app introduces a wide range of features that make staying connected simpler and more meaningful than ever.​ From a phone or a computer, families can gain an in-depth view of their loved one’s daily life and health through receiving detailed, real-time updates on care activities, health status, and overall well-being. ResHub's intuitive calendar feature also helps families track events, appointments, and activities tied to your loved one’s care, ensuring Next Of Kins are always up-to-date.

Online Activity Albums ​

At TWH, we use secure online shared photo albums to help families and friends stay connected with their loved one's daily life at the Home. Regularly updated with photos from activities, events, celebrations, and special moments, these albums provide a wonderful window into the experiences, friendships, and achievements of our residents.

For families who may not be able to visit as often as they would like, the albums offer reassurance and a meaningful way to remain involved. Each photograph captures treasured memories and helps loved ones share in the joy, engagement, and community life that residents enjoy at TWH.

Events ​

At TWH, we are passionate about creating opportunities for residents, families, and staff to build meaningful relationships and enjoy special moments together. We believe that maintaining strong family connections plays an important role in residents' wellbeing, happiness, and sense of belonging.

Throughout the year, we host a variety of events designed to bring our community together, including our monthly Families and Friends Connection Sessions, Morning Teas, and much-loved seasonal celebrations such as our Summer Party and Christmas festivities. These events provide a relaxed and enjoyable environment where families and friends can spend quality time with their loved ones, connect with other residents and relatives, and share in the vibrant life of the Home.

Whether it's enjoying refreshments, participating in activities, celebrating special occasions, or simply spending time together, our family engagement events help create lasting memories and strengthen the bonds that matter most. Monthly Newsletter

​Keeping families informed and connected is an important part of life at TWH. Each month, we distribute our Family Newsletter to residents' relatives, friends, and members of the wider TWH community.

The newsletter provides the latest news, updates, and highlights from around the Home, including resident activities, special events, celebrations, staff updates, and upcoming initiatives. It offers families an opportunity to stay engaged with the day-to-day life of the Home and celebrate the many achievements and memorable moments shared by our residents.

In addition to TWH news, the newsletter also features interesting articles, practical advice, and educational information on topics relating to ageing, dementia care, health and wellbeing, and developments within the aged care sector. Our aim is to provide valuable insights and resources that help families better understand and support their loved ones while staying informed about best practices and emerging trends in elderly care.
