The White House Nursing Home are proud to announce that we are now using eMar, an electronic medication recording system… and it’s a game-changer!
eMAR (electronic Medication Administration Record) is more than just an electronic medication record, it goes much further. It is a system that ensures that no steps in our medication processes are missed. The eMAR system will ensure that our team are following all the right steps in ordering, checking in, administering and disposing of medicines to ensure we are compliant as an organisation as well as ensuring a high quality of care for our residents.
Additional benefits are that we are able to demonstrate to the CQC that we are safe, responsive, and well-led in our medicine administration as eMAR is auditable.
Our resident’s safety is of paramount importance and we’re really excited about using this technology to make sure our they receive the best and most appropriate care.
